All in the Family isn't necessarily considered a great NYC show but it really was: a great show about working class, outer borough New Yorkers. You never see shows like this on TV anymore - thank God for re-runs!

When the camera panned over all those old Victorians, I got chills. I have fond memories of my family watching that show when I was a kid. They were always in hysterics but I never knew why. I did however like the Jeffersons a lot because by the time that aired, I was old enough to get the jokes :)
